The Tropical Hut is a full line pet store,
specializing in reptiles and amphibians and
freshwater fish and plants.
The History of the store:
The Tropical Hut was originally opened in 1970 in a small location in
the city of Gresham, Oregon. In 1976 the store was moved to it's
current location for expansion purposes.
In the early years the store was primarily just  fish oriented. Then in
the late 70's expanded into birds. In the 80's we also expanded into
more dog and cat related goods. And finally by the mid 90's also
moved into carrying more reptiles.
By the end of the 90's birds were discontinued, and reptiles started to
take on a stronger interest.

We captive breed over 10 different Reptiles and Amphibians,
Including Poison Dart Frogs, Veiled Chameleons,
Panther Chameleons, Bearded Dragons, Leopard Geckos,
Crested Geckos, Corn Snakes and soon to have Ball Pythons of
different morphs.
We also Raise most of our feeder animals to assure the quality.
